1. Introduction | 引言
This Privacy Policy explains how SpeakingCN collects, uses, discloses, retains, transfers, and protects personal information during the Trial MVP.
本隐私政策说明 SpeakingCN 在内测 MVP 阶段如何收集、使用、披露、保留、传输和保护个人信息。
2. Information we collect | 我们收集的信息
We may collect:
- account information: name/display name, email, authentication data, language, time zone, role, status;
- parent/child learner information: guardian status, child nickname/display name, age range, learning goals, consent status, booking history;
- teacher information: photo, bio, education, experience, qualifications, subjects, languages, availability, price tier application, approval status, payout information;
- booking/lesson information: subject, teacher, time, time zone, class method status, courseware access, attendance, no-show, reviews, disputes;
- payment/transaction information: payment intent IDs, amount, currency, payment/refund/payout status, ledger/audit records; full card numbers are processed by third-party processors and not intentionally stored by us;
- courseware/content: PDFs, metadata, access logs;
- communications/support: emails, support requests, refund reasons, evidence;
- technical/usage data: IP address, device/browser, logs, error reports, security events, referral/UTM data, cookies.
我们可能收集：
- 账户信息：姓名/展示名、邮箱、认证数据、语言、时区、角色、状态；
- 家长/儿童学习者信息：监护人身份、儿童昵称/展示名、年龄段、学习目标、同意状态、预约历史；
- 教师信息：头像、简介、学历、经验、资质、科目、语言、可用时间、申请价格、审核状态、收款信息；
- 预约/课程信息：科目、教师、时间、时区、上课方式、课件访问、出勤、缺席、评价、争议；
- 支付/交易信息：支付意向 ID、金额、币种、支付/退款/结算状态、账本/审计记录；完整银行卡号由第三方处理，我们不会有意存储；
- 课件/内容：PDF、元数据、访问日志；
- 沟通/客服：邮件、客服请求、退款原因、证据；
- 技术/使用数据：IP、设备/浏览器、日志、错误报告、安全事件、推荐/UTM、Cookie。
3. Children's information | 儿童信息
Children may not independently create payment accounts. Parents/guardians may create child learner profiles. We minimize child information and use age range rather than exact age where possible. Parents may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of child learner information.
儿童不得独立创建付款账户。父母/监护人可创建儿童学习者资料。我们最小化儿童信息，并尽量使用年龄段而非精确年龄。父母可请求访问、更正、删除或限制儿童学习者信息。
4. Use of information | 信息使用
We use information to provide accounts, verify roles/consent, match students and teachers, process bookings/payments/refunds/payouts, provide class prep and courseware, send notifications, enforce rules, prevent fraud, improve product quality, and comply with legal/tax/accounting/payment obligations.
我们使用信息用于账户、角色/同意验证、师生匹配、预约/支付/退款/结算、课前准备与课件、通知、规则执行、反欺诈、产品改进及法律/税务/会计/支付义务。
5. Sharing | 信息共享
We may share necessary information with assigned teachers, students/parents, payment processors, cloud/storage/email/analytics/support/security providers, legal/safety recipients, and business transfer parties. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
我们可向对应教师、学生/家长、支付机构、云/存储/邮件/分析/客服/安全服务商、法律/安全接收方及业务转让相关方共享必要信息。我们不会向广告商出售个人信息。
6. Cookies and attribution | Cookie 与归因
We use cookies and similar technologies for login, preferences, security, referral attribution, feature flags, analytics, and product improvement.

7. Retention | 数据保留
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for service delivery, payment, accounting, tax, audit, security, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal compliance. Payment, refund, ledger, payout, and audit records may be retained longer where legally or operationally required.

8. Security | 安全
We use reasonable measures such as access controls, encryption in transit, role-based permissions, logging, monitoring, and secure storage practices. No system is absolutely secure.

9. International transfers | 跨境传输
Because SpeakingCN connects overseas students/parents and teachers in China, information may be accessed, stored, or processed outside your residence jurisdiction. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards and obtain required consent.
由于 SpeakingCN 连接海外学生/家长与中国教师，信息可能在您居住地以外被访问、存储或处理。法律要求时，我们将采取适当保护措施并取得必要同意。
10. Rights | 用户权利
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, or complaint handling. Contact privacy@speakingcn.com. We may verify identity or guardian authority.
